During my 74 years of life i have never seen sucha tragedy in Tamilnadu.
there were many droughts and heavy floods in Tamilnadu. But 2015 December isa major disaster date for Chennai people.
As usual I was watching my tv news and went to sleep.
At 11 Pm on that fateful night my sons car was saved in that midnight by his friend. so car was saved. we entered our home at JJ Nagar Eri scheme.
we saw water logging in the streets .
after 12 pm water entered our homes ground floor.
The family at ground floor was shocked. and at once they vacated toa friends home. after 12 in that night there were waters everywhere.
we came to know that both almost all lakes and ponds were breached. sembarampakkam Lake was opened. so waters were in greater heights.
Come dec 2 and 3 rd ..
whole Chennai was gone ...

Major reason we have cornered every space of river s.
Real estate was so blind.
There were no master plans by Madras metropolitan Board.
we are completely zero in Disaster management.
we were not able to access our Chief Minister still nobody can access her...
so God helped us ...
Tamilnadu youth and NGOs and good policemen and people were so dedicated to help.
we need a massive master plan for future Tamilnadu floods control.
Otherwise Tamilnadu will be out.
